Selling & Listings

Featuring your listing

What featured listings are, how placement works, how to feature a listing, and when it's worth doing.

What featuring does

Featured listings appear at the top of relevant search results and category pages, above standard Breeder, Trader, and Starter listings. They also receive a "Featured" badge that draws the eye in grid views. Featuring is the most effective lever you have for getting more views on a specific listing quickly.

Who can feature listings

Featuring is available to Trader and Breeder tier subscribers. If you're on the free Starter tier, upgrade your subscription first. You can feature any active listing β€” draft listings must be published before they can be featured.

How to feature a listing

Go to Account β†’ Listings and find the listing you want to feature. Click the "Feature" button next to it. Select a duration (7 days, 14 days, or 30 days) and confirm. The feature activates immediately β€” your listing moves to the top of relevant results within minutes.

How long does featuring last?

Featured placement runs for the duration you select. When the feature period ends, the listing returns to standard placement for your subscription tier. You'll receive an email reminder before your feature expires so you can renew it if the listing hasn't sold.

When featuring is worth it

Featuring delivers the best return when: you have a highly competitive listing (strong photos, complete description, fair price) that just needs more eyeballs; you're selling a seasonal or time-sensitive animal (breeding season stock, hatchlings); or you're selling an animal in a crowded category where standard placement means page two or three. Featuring a poorly photographed or underpriced listing will increase views but not necessarily inquiries β€” fix the listing first.
